The social aspect of Caterham, Oxted & Godstone Lions Club has been slightly more to the fore this month. Members enjoyed an informal Fish & Chips Supper Social recently, with a Speaker from Oxted based charity “Clockwork”. These dedicated people are helping youngsters with depression and anxiety problems get through them and have steered some away from trying to take their own lives. Santa comes to Guildford

As always, the time before Christmas was busy for members with bucket collections at three of our supermarkets – Sainsbury, Tesco, and Waitrose. The weather was fresh, to say the least, and the best place to be was in the Santa suit.
