The Boxing Day Dip has become a way of bringing some mid-winter sunshine to lighten the shadows cast by the current uncertain state of our great country, and this year’s event looks set to continue that tradition The “dip” is a way of walking off a little of the Christmas excesses for those just coming along to watch, and a convenient way for individuals or groups of “Dippers” to raise funds, not just for our club, but also for a charity or good cause of their choice.

Dippers can use the enclosed form to gain sponsorship for this annual head-long rush into the sea from the Sunny Sands Beach, and we encourage them to don fancy dress with a cup for the best outfit. So, whether you are eight or eighty, why not grab a form, get some sponsors, and make this the year that you, too, get your feet wet.
