Vintage Bus Day On Sunday, 21st April, it was wonderful to see so many people in East Grinstead High Street enjoying the Vintage Bus Running Day. At the event, over 25 classic buses gave visitors a free ride along many of the old routes that used to pass through East Grinstead. The cold weather did not deter people from attending, and the East Grinstead Lions were kept busy selling throughout the day selling their hot drinks, cakes and sausage rolls. Special mention must go to L Brendan Joyce, who did a sterling job organising the throngs of visitors into orderly queues as they waited to get on the buses.
