•We meet monthly at Goldsworth park.

•Our differentiator is that we are focused on raising funds primarily to support those in need locally in Woking & the immediately surrounding areas.

•We are part of a Lions International global organisation, formed in 1917. Globally we have 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.4 million members in more than 200 countries  https://www.lionsclubs.org/en

•We work with a number of Woking social services, local agencies and charities to help as many people as possible in our community.

•All profits we make are distributed  locally via our Welfare Committee comprising a small group of members.

•It is not all work as we like to play as well. We have a rich and varied social programme including evening social events, quizs, wine tasting, dinners, etc

•We are a non-political organisation and welcome all newcomers irrespective of race, physical ability, religion or sexual orientation.
