I am contacting you to ask if you might support me in raising funds for the Lions Air Ambulance Appeal and our partnership with Air Ambulance Kent Surrey and Sussex (KSS).  I am the President of Adur East in zone 1B and would like to mark my year by supporting this very worthwhile charity.  My own club has not made any donation to the Air Ambulance in recent years and so I am asking them to get the ball rolling by making a contribution.  Maybe your own clubs are in the same position?

I plan to cycle to each zone in the District starting on 5^th September at the Lions 105SE Air Ambulance Open Day with KSS, Rochester.  My initial plan is to cycle to each zone starting at 3B and then visiting 3C, 1C, 3A, 2B, 2A, 1A, finishing in my club’s zone of 1B.  I am at the beginning of the planning phase so don’t have too many details at the moment.  However, I think I will need 1-2 days to get from zone to zone and would hope to meet some other club Presidents en route but maybe gathered in one place in the zone?  Clubs could either bring along a presentation cheque to gain publicity for AAKSS and the Lions or make an online payment.  I would also welcome other cyclists joining me for parts of the ride.

My husband will be accompanying me in our motorhome so I will have somewhere to sleep each night.
