Senior Citizen Christmas Lunch

Zone chair Ann McGovern was asked to attend dover lions club event senior citizens Christmas lunch on Saturday 2nd December at the Masonic hall.

There was over 60 people attend the lunch.

There was music by a local group.Ann reported this was a great day and when speaking to attendees some of them have been coming for a few years and look forward to it.

Well done to dover lions club for a well organized event there is so much that goes on in the background to make this event happen.

Air Ambulance KSS and Lion Working Harder Than Ever

2022 was the busiest year to date in Air Ambulance Kent Surrey and Sussex (KSS) 35-year history as they were called to 3,224 missions and helped provide life-saving care to 1,928 patients experiencing the worst moments of their lives, an eight percent increase on the previous year. Of these the most common callout was to road traffic collisions (RTCs) which accounted for 30% of their missions.
