For the last 50 years, Dartford Lions have been taking their 100-year-old carousel around local fetes, fairs and events.​

​Generously donated and maintained by Dartford Lion, John Bailey, the carousel has raised tens of thousands of pounds over the years.​

For the Coronation weekend, Dartford Lions were able to take the carousel to two events.  The first, the Sunday, was a 5-hour day in Dartford park, giving free rides to 700 local Dartfordians, raising £500.​

Bank holiday Monday was spent at Southfleet fair where we were able to give 200 rides to the local children, raising a further £390 for good causes.​
