Message in a Bottle enables people with health conditions and life-threatening illnesses to store their medical details safely in a branded bottle in their fridge, so that they can easily be found in an emergency. Lions are able to supply Message in a Bottle kits free of charge thanks to generous donations from the public and businesses. Each kit contains a medical form, a bottle, and a window and fridge sticker. Many hospitals, health centres, doctors’ surgeries, and chemists have already benefited from the scheme.
